28. April - 30. April 2019: The End is Here in Ischgl

Feiern bis man zum Arzt kommt - wohl einmalge Kombination im selben Haus

Die vielen Beschwerden über ausbleibende Blogeinträge freuen mich und betrüben mich gleichermassen, denn der einzige fehlende bezieht sich auf das Saisonende in ..... (Trommelwirbel) Ischgl! Diesesmal mit einem jammenden Lenny Kravitz – glauben wir zumindest, denn hinter dieser gigantischen Sonnenbrille kann sich jede*r verbergen.

Unter den vielen erinnerungswürdigen Stories sind die folgenden besonders blogwürdig, weil sich wohl zwei Weltrekorde darunter verbergen:

Zwei neue Lifte, auch wenn es sich "nur" um Ersatzbauten handelt:

• Gampenbahn (ersetzt den alten Lift aus dem Jahre 1988), mit 924 Höhenmetern eine tatsächliche Weltrekordbahn (Länge 2,4 km)
• Palinkopfbahn (ersetzt den "alten" Lift aus dem Jahre 1996)

Ebenfalls weltrekordwürdig: Der Sound. Wir deklarieren Ischgl als den Ort in den Bergen mit der schrecklichsten lautesten Musik. Damit meine ich nicht das akkustische Armageddon, das sich genau in der Mitte zwischen Trofana und Schlosshotel befindet, sondern die Soundauswahl, die seit jeher immergleich ist und wenn dann nur durch noch schlimmere neuen Lärm ergänzt wird (wer findet den Lauda Song jetzt noch lustig??). Dennoch werden wir wohl auch nächstes Jahr wieder da sein. Bis dahin wünsche ich uns allen einen kurzen Sommer.

Neue Lifte 2:
Sessellifte: Gampenbahn, Palinkopf

The many complaints about missing blog entries make me happy and sad at the same time, because the only missing bog refers to the end of the season in ..... (drum roll) Ischgl! This time with a jamming Lenny Kravitz - at least we believe it was him, because behind this gigantic sunglasses everyone can hide.

Among the many memorable stories, the following are especially blog-worthy, because there are two world records under it:

Two new lifts, even if they are "only" replacement buildings:

• Gampenbahn (replaces the old lift from 1988), with 924 vertical meters an actual world record lift (length 2.4 km)
• Palinkopfbahn (replaces the "old" lift from 1996)

Also world record-breaking: the sound. We declare Ischgl as the place in the mountains with the most terrible loudest music. By that, I do not mean the accoustic Armageddon between Trofana and Schlosshotel but the sound selection, which has always been the same and only is supplemented by even worse new noise (who still finds the Lauda song funny?). Nevertheless, we will be back next year. Until then, I wish us all a short summer.
