A long time ago (1999), in a galaxy far, far away (Western Switzerland/Southern France), two fellow exchange students at UniGE and I went to a resort in the Alpes Maritimes (I think Isola) on their last weekend of the season, spent the morning skiing (wearing our bathing shorts beneath the ski suit), stopped around noon and drove right down to Nice for a splash in the Mediterranean - cooling our drinks on the beach with the bag of snow we brought with us! Beach mountain 😉

What a great story! I hope, the water was warmer than the snow in the bag :-)
